SlotsMillion, the first ever 3D virtual reality online casino, has reportedly made its debut in the United Kingdom after parent company Alea Gaming Ltd. recently received its operating license from the UK Gambling Commission.

Until recently, players from the UK were not permitted to play at SlotsMillion.

Now, UK players are able to access the Barcelona-based online casino’s incredibly diverse range of more than 700 slot titles powered by 26 software platforms including Quickspin, Microgaming, NextGen, Red Tiger Gaming, Leander, Pragmatic Play, Games Warehouse, Blueprint, Core Gaming and NetEnt.

In its mobile-first approach, SlotsMillion offers 500 games in its mobile portfolio, reportedly among the largest in the UK. Players can access the online casino’s games via desktop, tablet, smartphone and across Android, iOS and Windows operating systems.

Commenting on the UK debut, SlotsMillion co-founder Alexandre Tomic, said that they were proud to have achieved what is considered a huge milestone for SlotsMillion. Tomic added, “Our core focus is to offer players a unique, engaging and most importantly, entertaining experience, which we believe UK players will find when they walk through the digital doors of our casino,” according to the news release.

Oculus Rift headset owners can also meander through the doors of the VR Casino, developed in partnership with Lucky VR, which can be found on the top floor of a virtual skyscraper. The imaginary top floor boasts a bar & lounge, as well as dozens of slot machines. Once players are inside the building, they can look out of the windows over a cityscape and do some exploring in the area, where they will happen upon a casino floor featuring more than 40 of their favorite titles such as Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Big Bad Wolf and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Players without access to Oculus Rift hardware are still able to enjoy the 3D experience at SlotsMillion Casino via their desktop computer.

Creating a world-class online casino experience and developing new innovations and technologies to drive player engagement and take online casino to another level, was the aim when ALEA was founded.

With offices in Malta and Barcelona, the operator has more than a decade of experience in the industry and employs a team of around 50 developers, designers and customer service agents.
