Ahead of its planned re-opening in the summer, Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort Casino has announced the signing of an agreement that will see it feature one of the biggest attractions in virtual golf.

According to an official press release, the 6.4 million sq ft Ocean Resort Casino has inked a deal with developer Topgolf International Incorporated to launch complete with the Topgolf Swing Suite offering customers the ability to enjoy virtual putting greens as well as a range of interactive multi-sport games.

Previously named TEN Atlantic City until it was sold for $200 million to an entity known as AC Ocean Walk LLC in January and rechristened, the New Jersey property’s latest 26,000 sq ft attraction will ostensibly feature eleven virtual golf bays that are each able to accommodate up to eight players simultaneously. The Monday press release revealed that the Topgolf Swing Suite is to moreover come complete with a food and beverage outlet alongside lounge seating, high-definition televisions and panoramic ocean views.

For his part, Ron Powers, President for Topgolf International Incorporated, explained that his firm’s innovations are already available at numerous locations across the United States including the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, Texas, and MGM Resorts International’s MGM Grand Detroit. He declared that the guests will additionally be able to reserve the coming Topgolf Swing Suite inside the Boardwalk property for corporate events and private parties.

Powers proclaimed that the new Topgolf Swing Suite is due to ‘be unlike anything the entertainment industry has seen before’ and will help Ocean Resort Casino become an exciting destination for groups of friends and golf fans alike.

Also previously known as the Revel Casino Hotel Atlantic City, The Press of Atlantic City newspaper reported on Tuesday that Ocean Resort Casino has sat empty since 2014 while its imminent re-opening is being widely welcomed by residents and fans of Atlantic City. It purportedly detailed that the reemergence of the 60-story property is to be prefaced by the premiere of the nearby Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City, which will occupy the former Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and is scheduled to begin welcoming guests and players from June 28.
