Casino Cosmopol is a casino operator of Sweden which recently chose to work with a company of Playtech for their casino management solution needs. Intelligent Gaming Systems will be providing a complete suite of casino management systems to Casino Cosmopol, including poker, tables, slots, registration of visitors, business intelligence and cash desk capabilities.

AB Svenska Spel is the parent company of Casino Cosmopol, with four casinos in operation in Sweden. The casinos stay busy, with as many as one million visitors arriving in 2016, as reported by SBCNews. Over 1,300 individuals are employed within the four casinos, with Casino Cosmopol profits going directly into the treasury of the government and distributed to various causes.

In the report, Casino Cosmopol CEO Per Jaldung, commented on the new partnership by stating: “As a public-sector organization, Casino Cosmopol applies the Public Procurement Act and our major investments are subject to a competitive procurement process. We specified detailed requirements for a system to connect our gaming, business and compliance operations, with a focus on AML and GDPR.”

Jaldung stated further that Intelligent Gaming Systems was able to meet the company’s requirements best and was given the contract because of this. Intelligent Gaming Systems and Casino Cosmopol have signed a framework agreement with the system provided to the casino this year and into 2019, with implementation taking place in several phases.
