Crown Resorts LTD, a casino operator controlled by James Packer, has plans to raise USD $305 million through sales of subordinate notes. These funds are going to fund new projects. The notes will appear on the Australian Securities Exchange on March 25, 2015. The announcement was made Tuesday March 17, 2015 after filing to get the notes released.

The sales are meant to finance Crown Towers Perth, Crown Sydney and other projects that are part of the new expansion. The notes will need to be repaid by the company in April 2075; however, the debt can be retrieved at any time starting in 2021.

James Packer, currently controlling billionaire of Crown, has joined Meclo Crown Entertainment Ltd in a partnership to develop casinos across Australia, the USA, and Asia.
