Hundreds of delegates will be attending the 2015 Malta iGaming Seminar (MiGS), considered one of the top gaming conferences in the industry. It is scheduled to begin Monday night, November 16, at The Corinthia Hotel located on the St. George’s Bay waterfront, in St. Julians, Malta.

MiGS is celebrating its seventh year and once again, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has confirmed its support as one of the event’s main sponsors. Joseph Cuschieri, Chairman of MGA stated in the event’s press release, “MIGS has not only played an important role in promoting the Malta Gaming industry over the years but has also placed the country on the international gaming map, as a destination to attend a top level iGaming conference that attracts international executives.”

The seminar will open with the popular “Play for Fun” annual Free Roll Poker Tournament, and provides a relaxed opportunity for attendees to meet and network with other delegates, industry executives, sponsors, and featured speakers also attending the event.

Conference highlights include a panel of gaming pioneers with a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry – affectionately referred to as “The Centurion Panel of iGaming Veterans.” This retrospective of the events that have lead to today’s gaming technologies will provide the MiGS participants valuable insights into the current industry dynamics in which to view and act upon patterns that are unfolding into the future.

The “Past, Present, and Future of iGaming” event theme will be also featured in an innovative concept called “Fishbowl Conversations” in which the delegates will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the speakers panel. Participants will experience a new dimension of interactivity by essentially taking on the role of moderator via questions and answers during the session.

Additional topics that will be covered include potential growth in the areas of mobile gaming and eSports, and the panel will address recent match-fixing news with the intent to provide concrete solutions. Also covered during sessions will be emerging jurisdictions, anti-money laundering and VAT Directives.

MiGS is a single-track conference with no multiple breakout sessions. The event’s program brings together an exceptionally strong speaker lineup, and provides an environment designed to foster the opportunity for every delegate to receive a clear return on their investment.
