Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:PNK) Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its Heritage Buffet, which for ten consecutive years has been voted Best in Vicksburg.

The newly designed restaurant includes a 350-seat buffet and an open concept with culinary action stations and views of the Mississippi River. Other additions include hand-dipped ice cream made in-house, a carving station, and the Italian Station, which features hand-tossed pizzas. Returning to the restaurant are fried chicken, a hometown favorite, and the popular weekend crab leg buffet. Also new is The Magnolia Room, which seats 100 and can be reserved for banquets and private events.

Gerad Hardy, the vice president and general manager of Ameristar Vicksburg, said, “We’ve taken the best and made it even better; everything in Heritage Buffet is brand new,” and, “We’re excited to welcome guests back to enjoy the new views, delicious longtime favorites and now they can sample foods from around the world without leaving Vicksburg,” according to Globe Newswire.

The Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg is located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, just west of Jackson. The property includes a 70,000 square-foot casino, with 1,571 gaming machines, 27 table games, 10 live action poker tables, a 149-room full-service deluxe hotel, which has been newly renovated, two bar/entertainment venues, three restaurants, swimming pool, and a full-service RV Park.

Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc is a Nevada-based gaming, leisure, and hospitality company, which owns and operates 15 gaming and entertainment properties located in eight states including Nevada, Indiana, Louisiana, Colorado, Ohio, and Missouri.

In March this year, Pinnacle Entertainment entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI) to purchase The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania for $138 million. Finalization of the deal is expected by the end of the third quarter this year.
