Sweden-based slot makers Play’n Go have signed a contract with one of the biggest online casinos in the Latvian market, Optibet, to supply their entire range of desktop and mobile games to the platform. This is the company’s latest step towards establishing a firm presence in the European online gambling market, after already striking deals with popular EU operators GVC Holdings and Betclic Everest Group, who only recently were approved their second Portuguese license.

A current leader in the online gambling sector in Latvia, Optibet first entered the business at an early and convenient time, back in 2005 where only a few online licensees existed in the country. Throughout its 10+ year run the brand established itself as the number one gambling portal in Latvia, thanks to profitable sponsorship deals and strong promotional campaigns. The addition of Play’n Go’s game roster, including their popular slot designs, is yet another move from the company’s side to stay on top of the competition.

Commenting on the partnership, Play’n Go’s CEO Johan Tornqvist said that the company was honored to supply their entire premium portfolio to Optibet, whom they believe to be the undisputed leaders in the Latvian market. He adds that they feel confident that Latvian players will continuously enjoy their games and they expect a long and productive partnership with the Optibet brand.

Returning the honors, Optibet’s Head of Casino, Chris Davis, said that they were excited for the addition of Play’n Go’s games to their collection and they feel that the Swedish game maker will rapidly become one of the casino’s strongest assets. As of now, players already have the chance to try popular Play N’Go slots like the Enchanted Meadow and Dragon Ship, apart from other hit slot designs from Microgaming’s and NetEnt’s catalog.
