After officially opening its casino to bumper crowds on February 8, the Rivers Casino And Resort Schenectady has held a special ceremony to inaugurate its Splash Spa facility.

The $330 million upstate New York casino already offers some 1,150 slots alongside 67 gaming tables but visitors will now be additionally able to enjoy a comprehensive range of beauty and relaxation services encompassing everything from manicures and pedicures to massages, facials and scalp and body treatments.

“The spa is operated by Maria Ho, owner of the successful Splash nail spa in Niskayuna,” read a statement from Rush Street Gaming, which owns the Rivers Casino And Resort Schenectady along with the Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia and the Rivers Casino Des Plaines near Chicago. “A resident of the capital region for the past eleven years, Maria Ho brings an impressive level of expertise and a lifetime of passion for the beauty industry to Splash Spa at the Rivers Casino And Resort Schenectady.”

Chicago-based Rush Street Gaming declared that visitors to Splash Spa moreover are able to take advantage of make-up treatments and demonstrations of its products and services while today’s official unveiling was celebrated with a champagne gathering attended by a host of local dignitaries.

“Splash Spa will complement the casino and be an additional amenity for those guests who are gambling, visiting the events center, dining at one of the five restaurants or enjoying live entertainment at Van Slyck’s and the hotel to open in the summer of 2017,” read the statement from Rush Street Gaming.
