iGaming Business – US operator Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE), a subsidiary of Caesars Growth Partners (CGP), has reported a significant year-on-year jump in revenue during the three months through to September 30.

CIE revenue for the third quarter amounted to $161.6 million (€129.5 million), a total that is more than double the $78.9 million generated in the corresponding period last year.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the CIE subsidiary also jumped by 74.5% from $30.6 million last year to $53.4 million in the latest quarter.

However, net income from continuing operation plummeted by 117.9% to a loss of $2.9 million while income from operations also fell by 11.5% to $20.1 million.

Aside from interactive operations, CGP also reported that revenue from its casino properties and developments amounted to $324.2 million, up 31.3% from the $246.9 million collected in the same period last year.

Adjusted segment EBITDA grew by 17% to $56.3 million, but income from operations dropped 53.6% to $10.8 million.
