DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is expanding its content portfolio through celebrity-led and cross-media partnerships that aim to appeal to Filipino players seeking both play-focused digital titles and short-form narrative entertainment. The company has confirmed that a slate of games themed around boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has been released across its BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone platforms, with additional titles expected in the coming weeks. In parallel, DigiPlus is working with GMA Network to deliver micro-dramas optimized for smartphones.

Pacquiao Games Join BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone

The company has placed particular emphasis on leveraging Pacquiao’s public profile as a Hall of Fame athlete known for his career-long achievements across eight weight divisions. DigiPlus stated that nine co-branded titles are planned in total, and seven of them are already available to users on its main platforms. Among the rollout are Super Ace Pacquiao and Boxing King Pacquiao, which are positioned as headline products.

DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco framed the tie-up as a strategic content initiative. “As the entertainment scene continues to evolve, audiences are seeking more authentic and exciting experiences. This landmark collaboration with revered Filipino sportsman Manny Pacquiao allows us to create something innovative, meaningful, familiar, and truly local,” he said. The partnership is described internally as a long-term content arrangement rather than a limited promotional campaign, with the company integrating elements associated with Pacquiao’s persona, sporting history, and cultural symbolism into game mechanics and visuals.

The two primary titles each use different formats and payout structures. Super Ace Pacquiao provides 1,024 ways to win and maximum returns that can reach up to 10,000x, while Boxing King Pacquiao operates with 88 paylines and potential wins of up to 2,000x. The latter includes free spins, free games, and multipliers that shape the game’s progression and rhythm. In describing the design approach, DigiPlus indicated that these mechanics were selected to mirror themes connected to Pacquiao’s in-ring style and career.

Additional Pacquiao-themed titles include Pacquiao FortuneManny PunchPacman’s Bingo Boom, and Pacman’s Color Game. Users can access the content through the BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone applications. Tanco noted the target audience directly, stating that the titles were “made for Filipino players, with a Filipino champion front and center.”

Pacquiao commented that the titles communicate personal narrative elements. “These games created together with DigiPlus chronicle my story. Aside from the wins, they tell the story of my struggle, discipline, and the faith that lifted me through it all,” he stated in DigiPlus’ press release. He added that he hopes players “see themselves as they see me in these games and feel inspired by what they could also achieve.”

Mobile-First Micro Dramas Through GMA Partnership

Separate from the Pacquiao portfolio, DigiPlus is working with GMA Network on a narrative format intended for consumption on mobile devices. The collaboration introduces short-form vertical dramas with runtimes of one to two minutes per installment. The first series comprises forty micro-episodes split across three titles: A Masked Billionaire Stole My HeartBabae Sa Bintana, and Toyang To Forget. GMA Network is responsible for production of the content, and the dramas are exclusive to the DigiPlus ecosystem.

BingoPlus President Jasper Vicencio described the initiative in terms of shifting user behavior. “By delivering high-quality, bite-sized narratives, we are not just expanding our platform – we are meeting our users exactly where they are: on their mobile devices, demanding premium, easily digestible content,” he said. He also noted that the partnership “solidifies our commitment to multiplying the fun and setting a new standard for mobile entertainment that is accessible to every Filipino with a smartphone.”

The rollout of both gaming titles and mobile dramas reflects DigiPlus’ broader content strategy in the Philippine market. The company has stated that it is pursuing content-driven partnerships that combine entertainment with culturally recognizable figures and themes. With online entertainment platforms competing for engagement time, DigiPlus continues to add titles around sports, narrative, and localized motifs.

The Pacquiao titles also expand the catalog within the regulated online gaming environment in the Philippines. The company has positioned the games as differentiators that combine familiar entertainment formats with a celebrity-centered theme. As additional Pacquiao-themed titles move closer to launch, DigiPlus has indicated that future collaborations will also highlight Filipino culture, sports, and entertainment.
