Great news for all Canadian fans of the biggest poker tournament in the world – the famous World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit event is coming to Canada.

Impressive prize pool awaits in Toronto:

GGPoker joined forces with Great Canadian Entertainment, to bring the championship to the country. Also, this is the first time this event will be held in Toronto, which is a significant milestone for both organizers and the city.

The event will be held from March 22 to April 1 at one of the biggest casinos in Toronto, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto. 

The contestants will be able to enjoy eight Circuit Ring tournaments, and combined, they offer a prize pool of fantastic $3.9 million.

The biggest prize awaits at the $2.000 Main Event, which has a prize pool of $2.1 million. On top of that, the $3.500 High Roller event also has a huge prize pool of $850.000.

The qualifiers will be held online, so all interested parties can test their knowledge and luck. GGPoker will be in charge of the operations during the qualifiers.

Apart from that, the players will be able to enjoy a range of satellite tournaments for the ones with smaller budgets, since the buy-ins begin at $1. These tournaments will be available across the whole country.

The tournaments will be available on GGPoker’s platform. Its Brand Ambassadors will also present it on the Circuit, and among them is one of the most famous Toronto locals in the industry, Daniel Negreanu, who has participated in WSOP events for more than 25 years now.

Negreanu stated that he was excited to be able to finally compete in his hometown.

It is located next to the famous Woodbine Racetrack, and despite it being relatively new, rapidly became popular among the visitors.
