A momentous occasion for the Seminole Tribe and Brighton Seminole Reservation:

“We are all eagerly awaiting our official opening on February 6,” shared Marty Johns, General Manager of the new resort, as reported by Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino via PRNewswire“It will be a monumental occasion for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the Brighton Seminole Reservation, and the entire region. This new resort is designed to attract even more visitors to the area, which will be vital for the local economy. We are thrilled to offer a fresh, exciting destination with a new level of gaming, dining, and entertainment.”

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino, located just west of Lake Okeechobee on the Brighton Seminole Reservation in Florida, is the latest addition to the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s portfolio of gaming properties. This new venue will replace the existing Seminole Casino Brighton, which has been in operation since 1980.

Spanning nearly 38,000 square feet, the new casino will offer a broad range of gaming options, including 640 slot machines and 18 table games, such as blackjack, craps, and roulette. A dedicated smoke-free gaming area with 104 slot machines and a high-limit gaming section featuring 42 slot machines and four table games will also be available for guests. The casino is expected to provide a dynamic entertainment experience, catering to a variety of gaming preferences.

For the first time in its history, the Brighton Seminole Reservation will also feature an on-site hotel, marking a significant milestone for the region. The new hotel will offer 100 guest rooms across four floors, totaling 72,000 square feet. Rooms will range from standard options with one king bed or two queen beds to three luxurious suites. The hotel will also include a fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool for guest relaxation. Reservations are already being accepted through the hotel’s official website or by calling customer service.

More than just a casino: additional amenities and dining experiences:

In addition to the casino and hotel accommodations, the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino will boast a range of other amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. One of the highlights is the expansive indoor event space, which can host up to 400 guests for banquets or bingo games, and up to 900 guests for performances and larger events.

The resort will also feature the first 10-lane bowling alley at any Seminole Casino, offering an exciting new recreational activity for guests to enjoy. Brighton Bay Bowling, located within the complex, spans 7,044 square feet and promises a fun-filled experience for families and visitors of all ages.

For those seeking a variety of dining options, the resort will offer four distinct eateries, each providing a unique culinary experience.

Josiah Steakhouse offers a classic American steakhouse experience, renowned for its wood-grilled steaks, including the famous bone-in ribeye. The restaurant provides a lively and inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy a selection of beers, wines, spirits, and handcrafted cocktails, making it an ideal spot for both family meals and special celebrations.

EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill, a new American diner, brings comfort food made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. With an all-day breakfast menu and a variety of hearty burgers, sandwiches, and traditional American dishes, it offers a welcoming setting for diners of all ages.

The Marketplace, a casual and quick-service venue, is perfect for those on the go, offering everything from pizza and freshly made pastries to sandwiches and artisanal chocolates. It also serves specialty espresso drinks from Constant Grind Coffee, making it an excellent stop for coffee lovers.

The Center Bar serves as a vibrant social hub within the casino, featuring lively music, interactive video poker machines, and a diverse cocktail menu. Its high-energy atmosphere creates a fun and engaging space for guests to relax, connect, and enjoy top-tier service.

Expanding employment and regional impact:

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is quickly becoming one of the largest employers in the Lake Okeechobee region, with more than 500 team members. As the February 6 opening approaches, the resort is continuing to fill additional positions.

Named in honor of local sportfishing destinations, the resort pays tribute to nearby Fisheating Bay, located just a few miles from the property. The area’s name, derived from the Seminole language, translates to “the river where fish are eaten,” reflecting the tribe’s deep cultural connection to the land and waterways of the region.
