Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Philippines, has officially opened a significant expansion that adds a large new gaming area, additional dining concepts, and hundreds of new gaming machines, further strengthening the property’s position within the country’s integrated resort sector. The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by senior executives from Hann Casino Resort and Aristocrat Gaming, alongside representatives from local development authorities.

The expansion introduces a newly developed area known as The Canyon, a gaming space designed as part of a broader effort to enhance Clark’s profile as a destination for gaming, hospitality, and entertainment in Asia. The project reflects Hann Casino Resort’s continued growth as it enters its fourth year of operations, building on a strategy focused on guest experience, design-led environments, and partnerships with established gaming suppliers.

The Canyon Gaming Floor Takes Shape in Clark

The Canyon forms part of a new 1.22-hectare development at Hann Casino Resort and represents a two-storey addition to the existing casino complex located within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. Only the first level has opened so far, with the second floor scheduled to follow next year. According to property information, the newly opened gaming floor can accommodate up to 446 guests and includes 584 slot machines alongside 34 table games.

Design elements throughout The Canyon draw inspiration from natural landscapes, particularly rock formations and canyon environments. The interior features tiered layouts, high ceilings, textured stone and wood finishes, and lighting designed to resemble sunlight filtering through canyon openings. The color palette incorporates earthy tones such as sandstone, warm browns, and muted golds, aiming to balance a natural aesthetic with a refined casino environment.

Dennis Andreaci, Senior Vice President of Casino Operations at Hann Casino Resort, described the concept behind the space by saying, “The Canyon is a unique casino environment unlike anything in the country. Drawing inspiration from rock formations, flowing water, and layered landscapes, we designed a space that is both sophisticated and calming. This is not just an expansion; it is a statement. The Canyon stands as a destination, crafted to deliver an elevated and truly memorable gaming experience.”

Aristocrat Gaming Expands Its Presence with 270 New Machines

A central element of the expansion is the installation of 270 new slot machines supplied by Aristocrat Gaming, increasing the property’s slot inventory by approximately 50% compared to its previous offering. The expanded gaming floor features well-known Aristocrat titles such as Dragon Link, Buffalo Gold Collection, and Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Chapter 2.

The opening also marked the Philippine debut of Tian Ci Jin Long, with Hann Casino Resort becoming the first venue in the country to offer the game to players. Tian Ci Jin Long features an Asian-inspired theme incorporating dragons, coins, and mystical symbols. The title includes five levels of Hold & Spin gameplay, where players collect dragon orbs to unlock free games with enhanced multipliers and bonus opportunities.

As part of the opening celebrations, Aristocrat Gaming also introduced a Buffalo-themed floor activation at the property. The activation includes entertainment elements, interactive experiences, and giveaways, and will remain on-site over the coming weeks to engage guests visiting the newly expanded gaming area.

Beyond Gaming: Dining and Resort Growth

The expansion extends beyond gaming to include new food and beverage offerings designed to enhance the resort’s lifestyle appeal. Two new dining venues have opened within the expansion area. The Canyon Café & Winery operates around the clock, offering coffee, pastries, and light meals during the day before transitioning into a winery setting at night, with seating for 52 guests. Three Woks, another 24-hour venue, introduces an East Asian dining concept inspired by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines, with seating for 148 guests.

Following the completion of this phase of development, Hann Casino Resort now offers a combined total of 1,721 slot machines, 274 table games, and 72 electronic games across the property. The official opening was marked by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Hann Resorts chairman and CEO Daesik Han, alongside senior casino executives and representatives from Clark Development Corp.
