The new title revisits the familiar jungle setting and central DoubleMax mechanic while introducing structural updates designed to extend play and increase potential outcomes. The sequel also represents two internal developments for the studio, as it serves as the first game built using Yggdrasil’s Game in a Box development framework and the debut entry in its newly launched Legends series.

Raptor 2 DoubleMax maintains a high-volatility profile and centers on cascading wins combined with a multiplier that increases through consecutive wins. The grid begins on a 5×3 layout, offering 243 ways to win, and can expand during bonus play to reach a 5×7 configuration with 16,807 possible winning combinations. Players can place bets ranging from €0.10 to €10 per spin, depending on jurisdiction.

Expanding Grid and Multiplier Mechanics

At the core of Raptor 2 DoubleMax sits the DoubleMax multiplier, a system that increases in value each time a cascade produces another win. After every winning combination, the game removes the contributing symbols, places a Wild symbol into one of the vacated positions, and allows new symbols to fall into place. Each successful cascade doubles the multiplier, beginning at x1.

In the base game, the multiplier resets once a spin fails to generate a win. During the Free Spins feature, however, the multiplier remains active for the entire bonus session and continues to grow across consecutive cascades. The multiplier can reach a maximum of x2,048, while overall win potential extends significantly when combined with expanding reels.
