Push Gaming has added another title to its Retro slot line with the release of RetroVerse, a new cluster-pay game now available across global markets. The launch continues the supplier’s 2026 release schedule after Wild Swarm 3 Chocolate Eggs and Big Bamboo 2 arrived in March, while also extending a slot series that started with Retro Tapes in 2022 and later grew with Retro Sweets.

RetroVerse keeps the retro gaming direction already established in the earlier titles, though it shifts the setting into a classic arcade-style environment filled with cabinets, neon lighting and console-inspired symbols. The game uses a 6×9 grid and pays through clusters formed by five or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically. Push Gaming has positioned the title as a sequel, but the supplied materials show that the studio has also built in several new mechanics that change how the game behaves compared with earlier entries in the series.

Amit Samji, Senior Game Designer at Push Gaming, said about RetroVerse, ”When releasing RetroVerse, we’ve evolved the excitement of our 6×9 grid by introducing Mystery Wilds and the high-impact Light Gun to add plenty more retro-inspired innovations to the series. RetroVerse isn’t just a sequel; it’s a mechanical expansion. We’ve kept the soul of the Retro series intact while adding layers of hidden potential that keep players on the edge of their seats.”

Retro Theme Returns With Expanded Mechanics

The game’s structure combines cluster mechanics, cascades, wild multipliers, instant prize values and a bonus round. The studio describes six reels and nine rows, with betting options from 0.10 to 100 per spin in the standard version. One source also notes that stake size can increase to 250 if boosted spins are activated.

RetroVerse uses high volatility and lists a top observed or advertised win of 10,000x the bet. The highest RTP named is 96.24%, with lower variants also available, including 94.37% and 92.38%.

The regular symbols are styled after retro controllers and gaming devices. Larger clusters pay more, with one source stating that 17-symbol clusters can reach payouts of up to 250x the bet for the highest-value symbol group. Winning symbols disappear after a payout, allowing new symbols to fall into place through the cascading system and potentially create additional wins in the same round.

James Marshall, CEO at Push Gaming, commented on the release of RetroVerse, saying in the company’s press release, ”After a solid roadmap of releases in Q1, I am excited for Push Gaming to continue this momentum with the launch of RetroVerse for Q2. We’ve seen plenty of growth since the launch of Retro Tapes back in 2022 and the ‘Retro’ series of games has quickly become one of our premiere slot series alongside big hitters like Wild Swarm and Razor Shark. Seeing the way the team have iterated on each release leading up to RetroVerse highlights our dedication to player-first mechanics and a level of production that exceeds the competition; from sound design to visual graphics and animations. I look forward to seeing how players enjoy the newest entry in the ‘Retro’ series as we continue to deliver our stacked roadmap for 2026.”

Feature Set Adds Wilds, Magnets and Light Gun

The wild symbol substitutes for standard paying symbols and lands with a multiplier. The supplied material says that multiplier can range from x1 to x10. When the wild contributes to a cluster win, it stays in position and its multiplier rises by one after taking part in at least one winning cluster. If multiple wilds help form the same cluster, their multipliers apply one after another.

RetroVerse also includes a Wild Mystery symbol. In the base game, this symbol advances through three levels based on the number of cluster wins it helps create. Once fully charged, it can reveal a wild with a multiplier, a scatter or a magnet. If the grid already holds the maximum number of scatters, the Wild Mystery can instead reveal an Instant Prize symbol with values ranging from x25 to x500.

Instant Prize symbols carry values from x1 to x500. When at least five of them connect in a cluster, they pay their combined value. The Magnet symbol can pull matching paying symbols toward itself to create a cluster, and it can also attract Instant Prize symbols when at least four are visible. The Light Gun symbol removes two regular symbol types from the grid at random.

Free spins begin when three or more scatter symbols land. Depending on the number of scatters, the bonus can start with 6, 8, 10 or 12 spins. During the feature, empty positions spin independently and can land wilds, Wild Mystery symbols, Instant Prize symbols, Magnets, Extra Spins or blanks.

The Collector symbol can appear through the Wild Mystery during free spins and gathers the values of Instant Prize symbols within its cluster. The Multiplicator symbol, also available in the feature, multiplies adjacent Instant Prize and Collector values before turning into a random Instant Prize symbol.

Players can activate a Boost or Mega Boost to increase the chance of triggering free spins, while direct feature buys for Free Spins and Super Free Spins are priced at 120x and 280x respectively.
