Kalshi has entered into a partnership with Genius Sports that will provide the prediction market operator with official sports data, integrity services and marketing support, extending Genius’ presence in the rapidly growing prediction markets sector.

The agreement was announced by Kalshi one day after Genius Sports revealed a similar arrangement with Kalshi rival Polymarket. Together, the two deals connect the sports technology company with the largest participants in the prediction markets space, a category that continues to draw increasing attention from investors, regulators and sports stakeholders.

Under the new partnership, Kalshi will gain access to official real-time data covering several major football competitions, while also joining Genius Sports’ integrity monitoring framework.

Official League Data Added to Kalshi Platform

As part of the agreement, Genius Sports will provide Kalshi with official data from its football rights portfolio. The package includes coverage of the English Premier League, Italy’s Serie A, Mexico’s Liga MX, France’s Ligue 1 and Argentina’s Primera División.

Kalshi plans to use the data to settle sports prediction market contracts. According to the companies, access to official league information is intended to improve the reliability of market outcomes and reduce dependence on unofficial or delayed sources.

The partnership follows a broader trend in which prediction market operators adopt systems and commercial tools that have long been used by traditional sportsbooks. Official data has become an increasingly important component of sports wagering operations, particularly as operators seek greater accuracy in grading events and settling contracts.

Unlike the recently announced Polymarket agreement, the Kalshi partnership does not mention exclusive streaming rights. However, it still covers a broad range of services that extend beyond data delivery.

Adam Barrick, Head of Sports Partnerships at Kalshi, said: “As the prediction market ecosystem continues to expand at a rapid pace, the use of official data and integrity services is more important than ever. We’re proud to partner with Genius Sports, with their proven track record in providing the highest quality sports data and working alongside leagues to protect the transparency of sporting competitions.”

Integrity Measures Form Key Part of Agreement

The deal also incorporates integrity-related safeguards designed to support the monitoring of sports prediction markets.

Kalshi will become part of Genius Sports’ information-sharing network, which includes market monitoring processes, enhanced visibility into trading activity and restrictions on certain market categories. The companies stated that these measures are intended to help protect sporting competitions and improve transparency.

The integrity component arrives as prediction markets face increasing scrutiny regarding market conduct and oversight. Kalshi has previously strengthened its internal rules concerning insider trading following public attention on the issue earlier this year.

Genius Sports believes integrity services will play a critical role as the prediction market sector expands.

Sean Conroy, Executive Vice President of Rights and Partnerships at Genius Sports, said: “Prediction markets will scale on a foundation of trusted, fast and accurate data, reliable technology and robust integrity services, and that is exactly where Genius Sports is uniquely positioned.

This partnership with Kalshi demonstrates how we can provide the essential technology layer that enables accurate and transparent sports markets.

As this category grows, we believe Genius Sports will play a central role in shaping its development while helping protect the integrity of sports.”

A similar statement accompanied the company’s partnership announcement with Polymarket, highlighting Genius Sports’ strategy of positioning itself as a data and integrity provider for the emerging prediction market segment.

Market Reaction Highlights Investor Interest

The Kalshi announcement generated another positive reaction in the public markets for Genius Sports.

Following news of the agreement, shares in the New York Stock Exchange-listed company rose more than 4% in premarket trading, reaching as high as $8.60. When markets opened, the stock traded around $8.40, compared with $8.05 at the previous day’s close. Later in the trading session, shares moderated and traded near $8.25.

The gain followed a strong market response to the Polymarket partnership announcement earlier in the week. Reports indicated that Genius Sports shares had climbed sharply after that deal became public, reflecting investor optimism around the company’s growing involvement in prediction markets.

Beyond official data and integrity services, Genius Sports will also provide Kalshi with marketing support through media assets owned by Legend, the company acquired in a $1.2 billion transaction completed in May.
