The Grand Lodge Casino at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa & Casino will soon be renovated, after an agreement was reached by Full House Resorts and a Hyatt affiliate. The property will take steps to enhance their position as a leader in the gaming and hospitality resort industry.
Renovations should be completed by the first quarter of 2017 and will take place in phases to minimize the disruption to guests of the casino and the resort. The agreement will see the Hyatt brand invest as much as $3.5 million to revamp the casino and food/beverage facilities. Full House will be investing as much as $1.5 million which would go towards the gaming venue, including equipment that is gaming related.
The President and CEO of Full House Resorts, Daniel R. Lee, stated that Full House Resorts values the long-standing relationship with Hyatt and they are pleased to be able to collaborate to further set apart the unique AAA Four Diamond resort from any competitors in the northern area of California or Nevada. The Grand Lodge Casino and Northern Nevada General Manager, Scott Ruhl, stated that the entire team is excited with the improvements that are to come and they look forward to welcoming guests into the ‘new’ and energized casino.
