iGaming Business – Sports and betting-related data company Sportradar has enhanced its football portfolio further after it entered into a monitoring partnership with the Hong Kong Football Association.
The deal will run for three years, from 2014-15 until 2016-17.
Under the agreement, Sportradar will use its Fraud Detection System (FDS) to provide the national governing body with intelligence about global betting on matches under the Hong Kong FA’s governance.
The system will cover all 113 games of Hong Kong’s Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup, Community Shield, Senior Shield and play-offs per season.
“It has really been impossible to ignore the credibility and reputation of Sportradar’s Security Services both in the region and internationally,” Hong Kong FA chief executive officer, Mark Sutcliffe, said.
