After an annual stockholders’ meeting on Thursday, Sept 29, Kingson U. Sian, the president and chief operating officer of Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) (AGI:PM) told reporters that by June of 2017, the company is looking to finalize the master plan for its second integrated casino to be built in Entertainment City in Parañaque, as reported by BusinessWorld.

The leisure and entertainment township, Westside City, will be developed by the Andrew L. Tan-led holding company in partnership with Malaysian conglomerate Genting Group, which will consist of 31 hectares in the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) owned Entertainment City.

The Philippine-based company’s chairman and CEO announced in November 2015 that two of its subsidiaries, Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. and Megaworld Corp. allocated P65 billion for the development of the property. Travellers International, the developer and operator of Resorts World Manila (RWM) in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines and partnership between Genting and AGI, has plans for a similar development to be constructed within the 31 hectares in Parañaque City.

Having targeted the last quarter of 2020 for completion of Westside City, AGI is adjusting the master plan for its property to offer unique attractions and, as noted by Sian, ride on the completion, according to the news agency.

The new development will be the final integrated casino-resort to be built within PAGCOR’s eight-square-kilometer Entertainment City. Currently, two casinos operate in the state-owned property, including Bloomberry Corp.’s Solaire Resort & Casino and by Melco Crown Philippines (Resorts) Corp.’s City of Dreams Manila.

Meanwhile, Tiger Resorts, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc., which hopes to open the first phase of the $4.2 billion Okada Manila by the end of the year, recently announced plans to build a port facility in Manila Bay that would be capable of accommodating smaller vessels as well as some of the world’s largest ships. The brainchild of Japanese gaming entrepreneur Kazuo Okada, the development spans a total of 44 hectares and boasts an indoor beach club and a two-hectare dancing water fountain and light display, as well as other features.
