American casino operator Monarch Casino And Resort Incorporated has released its unaudited financial results for the final three months of 2016 showing an 8% increase year-on-year in net revenues to $55.56 million while its net income rose for a ninth consecutive quarter to $6.47 million.
Monarch Casino And Resort Incorporated is responsible for the 824-room Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Nevada and Colorado’s under-renovation Monarch Black Hawk Casino and revealed that its fourth-quarter net income represented an improvement of some 26.3% when compared with the same period in 2015.
The Reno-based firm also saw its adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization for the three months to December 31 reach $14.6 million, which was a boost of some 17.8% year-on-year, as its casino revenues improved by 9.6% to $43.24 million alongside a 6.7% rise from its food and beverage offerings to $15.68 million.

At the same time, we continue to focus on operational efficiency, which resulted in higher margins on revenues and contributed to our ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit net income growth.”
For the full year, Monarch Casino And Resort Incorporated reported net revenues of $217.03 million, which was a swell of 7.3% year-on-year, while its net income advanced by 19% to hit $24.57 million.
In terms of annual adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, the operator declared an 11.4% boost year-on-year to $55.74 million with casino revenues hitting $168.86 million, which was up by 7.6%, and food and beverage takings rising by just over 6.6% to reach $60.26 million.
