The beautiful city of Kyiv is set to host Casual Connect this month, with a goal of matching the creativity of the gaming industry with the innovation of new media. The event will take place from Oct. 24 – 26 at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center in the capital city of Ukraine, with a full schedule of events.
The list of speakers for the event is quite long, with all areas of the gaming industry represented. A few of the notables include Stanislav Costiuc, Game Designer at Ubisoft Kiev; Asher Yonaci, Operations Director at Playtech; Oksana Afonina, Global Gaming of Facebook; Masaru Nogi Ohnogi, Head of Global Business Development at gumi Inc., among several others. Each individual will be sharing their knowledge and experience on the following topics: industry insights, market navigation, casino, tech, education and more.
On Tuesday, October 24th, Casual Connect will begin with a special workshop titled ‘What’s the Latest News with iOS’. Seating is limited for this event and those attending will need to reserve a spot in advance. The workshop will take place within Lecture Hall 3 from 15:30 to 17:25, after which the speakers will offer lectures throughout the day. An Official Casual Connect Party, scheduled from 21:00 to midnight, will wrap up the day’s events nicely.
The following day, the lectures continue with several top speakers on the schedule. Such highlights include a lecture titled ‘State of the Social Casino Industry—Q3 2017’ by Adam Krejcik, Principal, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming as well as ‘Breaking “Branding” Rules: NatGeo API for a Social Casino Game” by Sergei Kochubej, Product Owner NatGeo Wild Slots, Murka.
A second party is set for the evening of the 25th, which will be followed by a final day of lectures from more notable speakers in the gaming and media industry. The final day of Casual Connect will end with the Indie Prize Awards, where the best and brightest in indie development are rewarded for their accomplishments.
