Horseracing data and content provider Racing Post B2B has announced that land-based betting shops in the United Kingdom and Ireland now have a new way to display real-time tipping and betting information following the launch of its Racing Post Gantry (RPG) innovation.
Racing Post B2B stated that its RPG system has already gone live with over a third of betting shops in the United Kingdom and Ireland and offers a series of short statistical snapshots so as to help punters make better informed decisions when placing horseracing wagers.
Currently being offered by bookmaking firms such as Paddy Power, Boylesports and Ladbrokes, the RPG innovation provides operators with up to three key betting prompts a day for every available British and Irish race and these may be downloaded in a variety of compatible formats including HTML5. These prompts are determined by an algorithm specific to each event and include elements such as hot trainer and jockey alongside most tipped and traveler checks.
Racing Post B2B declared that its RPG advance gives shops ‘access to an easy-to-use interface’ where betting prompts can be viewed before being downloaded, which allows customers to ‘pick and choose what prompts to use’.
“The selected content can be downloaded and then uploaded into gantry systems for use in existing screen set-ups and carousels,” read a statement from Racing Post B2B, which has offices in London and Dublin and offers its services in multiple languages to customers in over 25 countries.
