Swedish online casino games developer Play’n Go is hoping to take video slot aficionados on a colorful trip into the cosmos with the launch of its latest grid-based title in the space-themed Reactoonz.
A sequel to its Energoonz video slot, the HTML5 Reactoonz features a seven-by-seven grid filled with representations of one and two-eyed extraterrestrial beings while players are tasked with collecting enough energy to awake the game’s sleeping Gargantoon character and unleash a chain reaction of wilds and special features.
Vaxjo-based Play’n Go, which is licensed by authorities in Malta, Alderney and the United Kingdom, explained that Reactoonz has been made ‘functional’ with its omni-channel platform so that players can enjoy ‘the same high-quality experience’ across desktop and tablet computers in addition to mobile devices.
Play’n Go also has offices in Malta, Hungary and the United Kingdom while the launch of Reactoonz follows its late-2014 premier of the grid-based GeMiX as well as May’s debut of the Viking Runecraft title.
“We’ll once again be taking players on an immensely enjoyable journey into deep space to visit the Reactoonz,” read a statement from Johan Tornqvist, Chief Executive Officer for Play’n Go. “Energoonz proved a smash-hit with players and operators alike after its launch and we’ve built on the proven formula with out-of-this-world visuals and new features unique to our latest grid slot.”
