Swedish online casino games developer, NetEnt AB, has announced that the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has awarded it with the coveted global ISO 27001 level of certification.
The Stockholm-headquartered innovator used an official Wednesday press release to declare that the judgement involves the endorsement of a wide range of its processes including those dealing with infrastructure, development and network configuration alongside an affirmation that it has demonstrated a ‘commitment to information security management.’

Henrik Fagerlund from NetEnt used the press release to state that the award also means that it will now be able to introduce its ‘full portfolio of games to markets that require such certification’ and unlock procurements from members of the World Lottery Association ‘that previously were not possible.’

It explained that these sites utilize platforms from Gamanza Group AG and Alands Penningautomatforening respectively and that it moreover hopes to go live ‘with several other licensed Swiss operators’ over the next few months.
