Yggdrasil Gaming has released the second title, Medusa Fortune and Glory, courtesy of its flagship YGS Masters program’s 15-month-old DreamTech Gaming partnership.
The 6-reel, 4-row, 4,096 win ways video slot whisks players away to ancient Greece to uncover Medusa’s treasures, battling cartoon-style, yet menacing, mythological creatures along the way for a chance at some huge wins.
“adds another unique flavour to our offering”
Riding the stone-column framed grid you’ll find a total of nine pay symbols. From lowest to highest earners, they are stone-chiseled 10-A royals along with creatures including the easily recognizable Pegasus, a frightening winged warthog, the multi-headed serpentine water monster, Hydra, and the Minotaur. Ruling the paytable much like he ruled the legendary Cretan Labyrinth, the terrifying Minotaur is worth 10x for six of a kind, while also paying out when just two of the monstrous half-man-half-bull appear.
Spreading Wilds:
The Medusa symbol appropriately serves as the game’s wild and can substitute for any regular pay symbol. The snake-haired Gorgon can also spread to other reels, adding as many as three extra Wilds per spin.
Extra Games Features:
If you’re lucky enough to land three or more Bonus symbols on the same spin, one of two Extra Games, the Fortune Feature, or the Glory Feature, is triggered. Once a player chooses the feature they want, the round begins.
Players who choose the Fortune Feature will be presented with six treasure chests. Whichever chest is selected will reveal as many as 40 extra games, while a second selection from a different array of chests reveals multiplier options, up to x20. During this feature, all wins are multiplied by the revealed number.
Same as before, with the Glory Feature, players choose two chests to reveal up to 20 extra spins, while the second provides an option of symbols that can transform into as many as 3 extra Wild symbols.
Action-packed gameplay:
Commenting on the collaboration, Chief Executive Officer for DreamTech Gaming, Thomas Lu, said…
“We are thrilled to release our second title together with Yggdrasil, which has an engaging setting and action-packed gameplay.
“As a YG Masters partner we have all the support and technology required to focus on game development and create truly outstanding content for slot players to enjoy across the globe.”
Partnership:
DreamTech Gaming became Yggdrasil’s YGS Masters program’s sixth studio partner in April 2019 and through the partnership has created two games, Medusa Fortune and Glory and Ice and Fire, which was released in early February this year.
Established in 2017, the Asian-centric software developing studio is owned by Nebula Gaming, a Maltese based company licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
YG Masters growth:
Also commenting on the new release, Head of Partner Strategy & Sourcing for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, used a company press release to say…
“Medusa Fortune and Glory is another fantastic addition to our growing YG Masters portfolio. With its interactive choices to determine the bonus round for players and its immersive gameplay, it adds another unique flavour to our offering.
“The entire purpose of our YG Masters programme is to ally with inventive studios to create truly different content and this is yet another superb creation from our fantastic partners DreamTech.”
In related news, DreamTech Gaming recently chose the Cherry AB subsidiary’s GATI (game adaption tools and interfaces) technology to help facilitate its global business strategy.
