Malta-headquartered online casino platform and game developer, Wazdan Ltd., has decided to enhance its Hold the Jackpot portfolio, having had success with a series of recent releases including Unicorn Reels, Clover Lady, Burning Stars 3, and Sun of Fortune, which was launched on April 27th.
Due to its recognition and popularity among the developer’s fans worldwide, production of the Hold the Jackpot feature will now be scaled up and is to be incorporated within soon-to-be-released slot titles: Midnight in Toyko, Poroserity Pearls, and Fortune Reels.
Three re-spins kick off each Hold the Jackpot bonus round, while the re-spin count, which is set to start at three, resets if a new symbol appears on the reels, adding even more excitement to the popular feature. Additionally, the innovative mechanic is refined and enhanced in each game, creating an immersive gaming experience.
Explaining in a company presser that the four releases that incorporate the feature “have been hugely well-received,” Chief Commercial Officer for Wazdan, Andrzej Hyla said they are “delighted to add more of them to our roadmap, as they provide the unmistakable flavor that many players seek.”
The CEO added…
“Keep an eye on Wazdan’s upcoming additions featuring Hold the Jackpot mechanics, including: Prosperity Pearls, Fortune Reels, and Midnight in Tokyo – coming soon!”
Debuting the feature, Unicorn Reels challenges players to discover 25 Unicorns deep inside the enchanted forest in the 5-reel, 10-payline slot game, which includes the Unicorn Jackpot Game, Wilds, Scatters, Gamble, and Buy Feature. The game provides a clear ladder system that enables players to see their progress. Offering 21 prizes and a minor, major, and grand jackpot worth a whopping 1,000 times the stake, the exciting game has risen to the top of Wazdan’s product portfolio.
Released in February, Clover Lady was next up with bonus symbols awarding players four jackpots while introducing multipliers taking the form of a Direwolf symbol. Players are able to boost their win by 0.5x for each of the prehistoric carnivores landed up to a 7x maximum, awarding as much as 3,500 times a player’s stake while the bonus round takes place on a grid comprised of 18 individual mini-reels.
Burning Stars 3, meanwhile, serves up a fast-paced, 3×3 adaptation of the bonus mode, which requires players to maintain their composure while being challenged to find nine symbols, earning them a win of 2,187x if they are lucky enough to activate the grand jackpot. The other three jackpots in the game offer smaller prizes.
Wazdan’s most recent release, Sun of Fortune, sees the Hold the Jackpot bonus hold bonus symbols that are assigned cash values, in addition to special mini, minor and major jackpots. When the bonus round ends, all of the prizes, including any jackpot symbols collected, are totaled. Players who manage to fill up all 16 reels are awarded the big daddy grand jackpot, which is worth 1,000 times the stake. Players also keep all other bonus round wins in addition to the grand jackpot.
