Job Posting: News Writer and Part-Time Editor

E3WD is looking for a tech-savvy, detail oriented news writer for our World Casino News site. (http://news.worldcasinodirectory.com/)

World Casino Directory is the largest encyclopedia and directory of casinos on the internet, and World Casino News is our news outlet.

Duties will include writing and publishing approximately 6-12 news briefs per day, pertaining to news developments in the world of casinos (both on-line and off-line), casino resorts, openings and closings, regulations, business and more, based on press releases, breaking news from other sites, and other stories as assigned by your editor. Work hours can negotiated, but our tentative schedule would be to have you working 5 days during the week, including Saturday and Sunday. This is a part-time, contract, telecommuting position. Compensation to be determined.

Requirements:

-Technical skills (internet savvy, able to manipulate text, photos, blog interfaces)
-Excellent communication skills (grammar, punctuation, journalistic style, inverted pyramid writing style)
-Excellent research and fact checking skills
-Self starter
