Powerhouse slot specialist, Microgaming, is continuing its multi-tasking efforts having used the iGB Live stage at the popular industry exhibition in Amsterdam this week to announce the coming return of one of its iconic characters, Jungle Jim, after his successful debut three years ago.

Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is a 5×5 reel, 50 payline slot that is slated for release in November this year.

The popular adventure seeker’s quest for lost treasure is courtesy of the game’s developer, Stormcraft Studios, which took him deep into the heart of the magnificent Amazon jungle in 2016 in search of the storied city of gold.

Exclusive to Microgaming:

Introduced by Microgaming in June 2018, the independent game studio that supplies exclusive content to the online gaming giant is responsible for successful titles such as Dragon Shard, Agent Jane Blonde Returns, and the steampunked-themed, Fortunium, which was the innovative developer’s first official game release and was unveiled on day two of ICE Totally Gaming 2018.

Egyptian adventure:

Following in the footsteps of the successful debut of Jim El Dorado in 2016, the iconic Indiana Jones-esque character is now up to his khakis in his effort to uncover the mysteries of Egypt. But fans of the dapper adventurer will have to wait until this fall to help him succeed in his new quest.

In celebration of Jim’s return, the provider branded its Stand R13 at iGB Live!, where on July 17 & 18 attendees were able to demo and get a sneak peek of the upcoming game.

Rolling Reels feature:

Commenting on the anticipated arrival of the new title, Chief Commerical Officer for the Isle of Man-based provider, Jean-Luc Ferriere, used the official press release to say…

‘Given the success and popularity of Jungle Jim El Dorado, we are really looking forward to teasing the iconic character’s next outing, this week at iGBLive! The new game includes outstanding artwork and entertaining mechanics, including the popular Rolling Reels™ feature, and Stormcraft Studios have set a new benchmark in visual storytelling in our industry.’

July endeavors:

Did we mention something about multi-tasking?’ We’re only half-way through the month and Microgaming has already launched Sherlock of London, developed exclusively by Rabcat, the creators of Castle Builder II™ and Crystal Rift™, along with the five-reelnine-payline online slot, Magic of Sahara. The latter is the follow-up to Le Kaffee Bar, and the second game developed by new independent game studio, All41 Studios, which will be providing exclusive content to Microgaming.

The month of July also marks the three-year anniversary of the Microgaming Poker Network’s (MPN) premier of its popular Fish Party Sit & Go progressive jackpot tournaments. To celebrate the occasion, from 15 July to 4 August the MPN will be running the  Fish Party Birthday Bonanza promotion, that will provide players with a sea of opportunities to reel in some big rewards in special re-seeded Fish Party jackpots and daily freerolls.

If that wasn’t enough excitement for HALF a month, the brand’s progressive jackpot network awarded more than a million wins in the first six months of this year, paying out a staggering €89,879,343* across 1,150,559 jackpots.
