Evolution has officially introduced its latest live casino game showRed Door Roulette, to U.S. audiences, starting with launches in New Jersey and Delaware. The title blends two of the company’s most successful formats—Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time—to offer a dynamic, bonus-filled experience tailored for live online casino players. Initially launched globally in 2023, this is the first time Red Door Roulette is available in the United States, with more jurisdictions expected to follow soon.

A hybrid format designed for engagement:

Red Door Roulette begins each round with a randomized slot phase, where players can secure between three and fifteen bonus numbers. These keys can unlock the red door, transporting players to the well-known Crazy Time bonus game, complete with a 64-segment wheel and guaranteed multiplier prizes. If a player places a winning bet on one of these bonus numbers, the game enters the second phase, intensifying the action.

Multipliers of up to 20x can be applied during the roulette phase. If triggered, they multiply all values on the Crazy Time wheel, offering the potential for massive wins. The game’s layered format merges real-time roulette betting with slot-style bonuses, appealing to a wide spectrum of online casino users.

According to Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America, “We are incredibly excited to officially launch Red Door Roulette in the US. Our game shows are an excellent introduction for new players to live dealer gaming, and following the game’s success internationally, we look forward to seeing how players in New Jersey and Delaware embrace this unique game.”

The rollout of Red Door Roulette is the first of several planned developments in Evolution’s 2025 roadmap for North America. In the company’s press release, Claesson described the launch as “just the first phase of our tremendous live game roadmap for 2025, with a wide variety of new games coming soon to all regulated states.”

Live dealer content has played a central role in Evolution’s strategy for North America, with titles like Dream CatcherFootball Studio, and the aforementioned Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette already popular among online casino players. The company recently opened its third live dealer studio in New Jersey and formed a content partnership with Hard Rock as part of its regional growth.

Despite recent financial fluctuations—including a 5.4% drop in net profits to €254.7 million in Q1—Evolution’s live gaming division remains its strongest performer, generating €448.7 million in the first quarter of 2025 alone. North America ranked third in revenue generation behind Asia and Europe, but it remains a key strategic market for the company.

Broader expansion amid regulatory pressure:

The release of Red Door Roulette also comes during a period of increased scrutiny. Earlier this year, the UK Gambling Commission conducted a review of Evolution’s license, adding pressure to its global operations. Nevertheless, the company continues to prioritize regulated markets and is positioning Red Door Roulette as a flagship offering to deepen its U.S. presence.

As Evolution prepares to roll the game out in more states, the title is expected to anchor further expansion of the company’s game show offerings. With its blend of luck-based mechanics, immersive visuals, and high-reward multipliers, Red Door Roulette could quickly establish itself as a favorite among American players.
