Just in time for the bustling Memorial Day weekend, Flamingo Las Vegas has officially reopened its Go Pool after a sweeping $20 million renovation. Spanning nearly 1.5 acres and exclusively for those 21 and up, this adults-only poolscape has been completely reimagined from the ground up into a sun-soaked party destination that blends retro flair with a modern resort aesthetic.

The revitalized venue, located on the southern side of the property near the rideshare area, now features five uniquely designed pool zones, a vibrant swim-up bar, and a DJ booth perched dramatically above a grotto waterfall. As part of an ongoing investment in the historic Strip property, Caesars Entertainment, the company that owns and operates the casino through a subsidiary, has worked with MO+A design studio to create a tropical haven that both honors Flamingo’s iconic past and embraces its energetic present.

Five Unique Pools, One Epic Escape

Adult visitors to the new Go Pool are welcomed by five distinct aquatic environments, each tailored for a different vibe. At the heart of the action is the Main Pool, where a circular swim-up bar shaded by a large canopy serves as a focal point. The bar, complete with four flat-screen TVs and built-in cooling misters, is surrounded by a shallow wet deck lined with in-water loungers and plush couches. Just overhead, the DJ booth keeps the party moving daily from its new perch atop the rock grotto and waterfall feature.

Tucked behind a cascading “rain curtain,” the Grotto Pool provides a more immersive, shaded retreat. Guests can kick back on underwater benches while still enjoying the electrifying music and tropical ambiance. The new layout transforms this section into a cenote-like hideaway, as described by hotel general manager Dan Walsh.

The Circular VIP Pool, a secluded 40-foot infinity pool surrounded by cabanas and daybeds, offers a serene setting. A 15-foot waterfall adds to the scenic backdrop, making it a favorite for social media moments. Meanwhile, the Rectangular VIP Pool promises front-row views of the DJ booth, ideal for partygoers seeking a high-energy scene complete with a custom water feature and wet deck. The Free-form VIP Pool adds even more options, offering three wet deck areas and cabanas that border the main pool’s lively atmosphere without being in its center.

All pools feature temperature-controlled water, cool-deck surfacing for comfort, and enhanced nighttime lighting. Nearly 200 trees, including 90 palm varieties rescued from the original pool, help give the space its lush, island-inspired feel.

Food, Drinks, and Party Vibes

The Go Pool’s menu keeps the tropical vibes going with a full kitchen and a bar program full of summer favorites. Guests can sip on creative cocktails like the Cucumber Splash or the Flamingo Fizz—perfectly crafted for sipping poolside in souvenir cups. Frozen daiquiris, signature mojitos, and large-format drinks designed for sharing are staples of the menu.

Dining options include flavorful selections like the Street Taco Trio, featuring birria beef or chicken tinga tacos, and the Southwest Bowl, a hearty vegetarian option packed with black beans, roasted corn, avocado, and cotija cheese. The Day Club Sandwich, loaded with turkey, bacon, and avocado on multigrain toast, rounds out the poolside offerings. Group-sized platters cater to guests relaxing in cabanas or daybeds.

A Destination with History and Heart

“The celebration continues,” said Walsh, Flamingo’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, in a press release. “Our all-new Go Pool is the ultimate summer destination that not only honors the legacy of the Flamingo but also provides an elevated, new experience for both loyal fans and first-time guests alike.”

While the resort continues to evolve—following recent dining additions like Havana 1957, Pinky’s by Vanderpump, and Gordon Ramsay Burger—its core charm remains intact. The Flamingo, first opened in 1946, holds the distinction of being the oldest continually operating casino-resort on the Strip. That history, according to Walsh, remains central to its appeal.

Adjacent to the Go Pool lies another Flamingo favorite: a four-acre wildlife habitat that features pelicans, turtles, ducks, and of course, the hotel’s namesake flamingoes. This natural haven draws curious tourists who often stumble upon it by surprise, adding an extra layer of magic to the resort’s eclectic offerings.

Go Pool is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no admission fee for guests 21 and older, whether they’re staying at the hotel or just stopping by. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with VIP cabanas and daybeds available for reservation. For those traveling with family, Flamingo also offers a separate Family Pool open to all ages, located just steps away.
