December 26th will mark the day when the live quarter horse racing will begin again at Hialeah Park Racing & Casino. The iconic landmark in South Florida will be opening for a 40 day season, taking place in 2015 as well as 2016.

The entries for the first three races, taking place in the afternoons, have already been drawn. The track at Hialeah Park is considered the most beautiful race course in the world and offers a weekly schedule consisting of four days, during the live 7th season of Quarter Horse racing in the southern portion of Florida.

The first weekend offering four day racing will run from this Saturday to Tuesday. The racing facility will offer live racing Friday to Monday during the rest of the nine week season. Mike Anifantis, the Racing Secretary, stated that the entry drawings went well and the opening day card is a solid one.

Nine races have been carded with a minimum of eight horses for each race. 36 horses entered the four Hialeah Maturity trials, with the Bienvenido de Nuevo Stakes drawing nine horses. This drawing included Daytona B, the winner of the Hialeah Park stakes and the Bank of America Challenge Championship.
