Paradise Entertainment Ltd, a leading Macau-based gaming equipment supplier, has officially launched a new production line under its subsidiary LT Game Ltd. This marks a significant milestone for the company, expanding its manufacturing capacity for gaming machines such as slot machines and electronic table games (ETGs). The new facility will enhance supply chain efficiency, support local markets, and extend the company’s reach to international markets, including Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Expansion plans in Asia and Europe amid U.S. tariff disruptions:
The new production line, which occupies 20,000 square feet in an industrial area on the northern side of the Macau Peninsula, is the only one of its kind in the region. It is designed to manufacture LT Game’s flagship models like the LTS-1, LTS-2, Mighty Mite, Vista, Speedwave, and Ripple. This facility not only strengthens local manufacturing capabilities but also reflects LT Game’s commitment to driving technological innovation within the gaming industry. The facility’s opening ceremony was attended by notable figures from the Macau casino industry, including executives from Galaxy Entertainment and Melco Resorts & Entertainment, showcasing the growing importance of the local gaming technology sector.
Jay Chun, Chairman and Managing Director of Paradise Entertainment, discussed the company’s ongoing efforts to innovate and expand its market reach during the ceremony. He highlighted the importance of this new production line in bolstering both local and regional operations. “We believe this milestone represents more than just the company’s progress — it signifies a new chapter for ‘Made in Macau’,” Chun said in the company’s press release (pdf).
However, the company faces external challenges, particularly with the impact of the ongoing U.S.-China trade war. Chun confirmed that LT Game’s exports to the U.S. have been temporarily suspended due to the high tariffs now imposed on Chinese-made goods. “Our exports to the United States were definitely affected,” Chun explained, noting that the U.S. market would not be a focus for the company in the short term. The tariffs, which exceed 100% on some products, have made it difficult for LT Game to compete effectively in North America.
While the U.S. market remains on hold, the company is shifting its focus to Asia, particularly the Philippines, Cambodia, and Vietnam, where demand for gaming equipment remains strong. LT Game also plans to explore opportunities in Europe, where it is currently setting up a presence. The Asian market, especially the Philippines, has become a key region for LT Game, contributing significantly to the company’s sales.
Technological innovations and smart table development:
In addition to expanding its production capabilities, LT Game continues to lead in the development of cutting-edge technology in the gaming sector. The company has achieved notable technological breakthroughs, including the development of a patented dice-rolling mechanism for Craps and the creation of smart table products.
Chun expressed optimism about the potential for smart tables, despite competition from established players like Walker Digital Table Systems and Angel Group in Macau. LT Game’s smart tables, priced competitively at nearly half the cost of similar products, are expected to cater to a wide range of table games, with initial plans focusing on baccarat. Chun emphasized that LT Game’s expertise in gaming technology and its cost-effective approach would position the company well to expand into new markets and further diversify its product offerings.
“We’re ready to launch our smart tables mainly for baccarat, and we believe there’s significant potential to enter neighboring markets,” Chun added. The company’s focus on smart tables is part of a broader strategy to innovate and meet the evolving needs of the gaming industry.
According to Macau Business, in 2024, Paradise Entertainment reported a substantial increase in its revenue, which reached HKD 361 million (USD 46.4 million), a significant jump from the previous year. The company’s expansion into international markets and the success of its new production facility are expected to contribute further to its long-term growth and sustainability.
