Year on year numbers show about 10% more people flew in and out of McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas during November this year. Total traveler visits for November 2015 were 3.7 million. According to statistics from the airport, released Wednesday, travel for the year is up about five percent so far with a total of 41.7 passengers passing through the gates for lift-offs and touch-downs.
All but one of the top five carriers posted an increase in traffic, with United Airlines showing a little more than 3% decline on weekly seats offerings of .5% less. Low cost carrier Spirit Air saw the greatest rise in numbers with an increase of more than 18% for November.
July and August saw more than 4 million passenger visits each.
McCarran International Airport is the main commercial airport for the Las Vegas Valley.
