Hacksaw Gaming has expanded its slot portfolio with the release of Red Rascal, a carnival-themed online slot game built around respin mechanics, shifting bonus modes and a maximum payout of 15,000 times the player’s stake.

Released on May 21, 2026, the title places players inside a chaotic funhouse populated by sinister clowns, demonic imagery and a horned mascot described by the studio as a “devilish rascal.” The game combines cartoon-style visuals with a feature-heavy structure centered on collectible symbols and alternating reward systems.

Carnival Theme Powers Feature-Focused Gameplay

Red Rascal uses a 5×5 grid with 19 paylines evaluating wins from left to right. Players can wager between €0.10 and €50 per spin, while optional feature modes increase the maximum possible stake to €250.

The paytable contains 10 standard symbols, including card ranks and themed icons such as books, goats, bottles, eyes and flaming triple sixes. Five wild symbols landing on a payline award 20 times the stake.

The slot’s visual setting includes roller coasters, kiosks, twisted fairground rides and horned buildings that appear during bonus rounds. The central gameplay mechanic is called Rascal Respin Mode. It activates when at least three Rascal symbols land on the reels. Once triggered, the special symbols remain fixed in place while respins continue as long as additional Rascal symbols appear.

A pendulum mechanic determines how collected Rascal symbols convert once the respin sequence ends. The pendulum alternates between Coin Mode and Wild Mode throughout the feature.

Coin Mode transforms Rascal symbols into prize-bearing coins valued between 0.20x and 500x the stake. Larger Colossal Coins also receive multipliers ranging from x2 to x100, depending on their size.
