OpenBet has entered into an agreement to acquire sportsbook technology provider OmniLogic as it seeks to expand its presence in regulated lottery markets worldwide. The proposed transaction requires regulatory approval and is expected to close later in 2026. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

The deal will add OmniLogic’s sportsbook technology and existing operator relationships to OpenBet’s business. OpenBet expects the acquisition to support its work with World Lottery Association members and strengthen its provision of sports betting and platform technology to major regulated operators.

OmniLogic has supplied sportsbook technology to lottery operators and WLA members for more than a decade. Its platform supports betting across retail locations and digital channels for operators in EMEA. The technology also includes trading functionality alongside risk management and back-office systems.

The agreement comes after OpenBet moved under new ownership in 2025 through a management buyout from Endeavour Holdings. OpenBet has continued to place lottery partnerships at the centre of its growth plans, with the OmniLogic transaction adding further expertise in that segment.

OmniLogic Team Set to Join OpenBet

Under the planned acquisition, OmniLogic’s specialist team will become part of OpenBet following completion of the transaction. Most of the team is based in Győr, Hungary, and has experience developing and supporting sportsbook technology used across both retail and digital operations.

The addition of the Hungary-based group will give OpenBet further technical capacity in sportsbook development. OmniLogic’s existing work with lottery and betting businesses also gives OpenBet access to established relationships in regulated markets where the acquired company already provides its technology.

Lottery Partnerships Remain Central to Deal

OpenBet has presented the acquisition as part of its continued focus on the global lottery sector. Once completed, the transaction will increase the scale of its lottery sportsbook operations while adding OmniLogic’s experience working with WLA members.

OmniLogic’s technology currently supports omnichannel betting for major operators across EMEA. Customers can use the platform across retail, online and mobile channels, allowing the company to serve operators that run betting products through several distribution formats.

OmniLogic co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor said joining OpenBet would allow the business to continue its existing work while gaining access to OpenBet’s broader organisation.

OmniLogic’s experience with lottery sportsbooks complements OpenBet’s existing platform operations and gives the company additional resources for its lottery-focused business.

OpenBet said lotteries remain a core part of its growth strategy. OmniLogic’s long-running relationships with operators in the sector form a key element of the proposed acquisition, together with its sportsbook technology and team.

The companies will continue toward completion of the transaction subject to the required regulatory approvals. OpenBet expects the acquisition to close before the end of 2026.
