PhilWeb Corp. has entered a strategic agreement with gaming equipment provider FBM to build and operate an online gaming platform designed to connect directly with the company’s established land-based machine network in the Philippines. The project focuses on linking digital gaming services with existing venues under a fully integrated online-to-offline framework.
The arrangement positions PhilWeb as the technology services provider responsible for systems integration, operational support, and regulatory-compliant implementation. The platform will connect with FBM Philippines’ network, which includes more than 500 venues and as many as 30,000 electronic gaming machines nationwide. Neither party disclosed financial terms or a detailed rollout timeline.
Integration Of Digital Play With Physical Venues
PhilWeb structured the platform to align with FBM’s established physical infrastructure rather than operate independently. Management described this as a way to extend digital engagement directly into existing gaming environments.
As reported by GMA Network, PhilWeb president Brian Ng explained the approach, stating, “Rather than launching a standalone online product, this collaboration allows us to help FBM build online capabilities that are deeply integrated into their existing machine and venue network.” He added, “By embedding online functionality directly into physical venues, we can support FBM in driving engagement and revitalizing offline operations at scale.”
The platform will introduce digital features that operators can deploy across FBM machines and venues nationwide. The companies expect initial deployment across thousands of machines, with potential expansion to the full installed base of up to 30,000 units.
FBM Philippines country manager Pepe Costa described the objective from an operational perspective: “This partnership enables us to extend our online presence in a way that directly benefits our offline business.” He continued, “By deploying online-driven features across our machines and venues, we can offer a more engaging experience for players while creating stronger revenue opportunities for our partners nationwide.”
FBM has maintained a significant presence in the Philippine electronic gaming sector for over two decades, specializing in video bingo, slot machines, and related electronic gaming equipment. The company remains widely recognized within the local e-bingo segment, supported by a large venue network and installed machine base.
PhilWeb, listed as a gaming services firm in the Philippines, provides regulated technology and operational services to licensed gaming operators. The company focuses on secure and compliant infrastructure capable of supporting large-scale gaming deployments within regulated markets.
Both companies view the partnership as part of broader industry development in regulated electronic gaming. Management indicated that integrated digital-physical solutions may help operators address reduced venue traffic while supporting sustained revenue performance.
Expansion Of PhilWeb’s Online Gaming Activities
The FBM agreement follows another recent online gaming collaboration involving PhilWeb. Last month, the company reached a separate arrangement with Hann Casino, an integrated resort located in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, to expand online gaming operations linked to that property.
PhilWeb stated that the latest collaboration introduces an “online-to-offline model” that delivers digital gaming features through existing venue infrastructure. Company representatives indicated the model could support player engagement initiatives and operational performance in land-based environments facing increased competition from purely digital gaming channels.
