Venetian Resort Macau - pools!

Incredible pools for the entire family at the Venetian Resort. Private chairs and even full rooms for the family to hang out poolside.

We were thoroughly impressed with the staff and service provided at the Venetian Resort and Casino.  Although our plane landed at night, the pickup at the airport was a breeze and the super plush Venetian bus was already waiting for us when we exited the airport.

In addition to the free drink coupons, another nice thing they provided us with was a free professional photograph in the lobby right in front of the “Great Hall” (check out our photo of the Great Hall on our Facebook page).  Just remember its a regular sized photo with no frame or anything.  If you want the framed and larger version they will charge you.  We wanted some photos, so we went for it and just got the full package (it wasn’t too expensive).

Our entire stay (all the way through the speedy checkout) was excellent.  You will find more dining than you could wish for, late night coffee, bars and of course 24/7 gambling in one of the largest and most impressive casino gaming floors.   The size of the building is nearly overwhelming but I suspect that this is not a problem for a lot of people!  There is even a full golf course on one roof of this building.  Thankfully, upon checking in you will be present with a map to help you find your way around.

Venetian Royale Suite

Picture of the living room area of our suite at the Venetian. It had an excellent view of downtown including City of Dreams, Hard Rock, Crown Tower, Conrad, Sands and more…

Unless your tastes are absolutely out of this world, you will be thoroughly impressed with your room.  Either they knew we were coming to review the room and casino, or their rooms are just incredible! We booked the Royal Suite ($280 USD) and it was super nice.   Our luggage was delivered promptly. We found our suite to be two levels with the living room situated by the huge floor to ceiling windows which looked out onto the City of Dreams, Hard Rock and Crown Tower.   We also had a great view of the Sands, Conrad, Sheraton, and most of the Cotai Strip.  If you were on the other side of the Venetian you would have had a great view of Galaxy Resort and Casino – so I don’t think  you can really get a bad view here.  Galaxy is an incredible casino just to look at.

Food court at the Venetian Macao

If you are looking for a variety of faster food, the food court is amazing. But there is no shortage of high class dining here.

The Venetian Casino Resort has so much going on for gamblers with a huge gaming floor, it has massive name brand shopping mall and even things for kids to do, so you can’t get bored or run out of things to do.   It is centrally located between Galaxy Casino & Resort and the rest of the Cotai Strip which is massively expanding.  In fact, if you are looking for Vegas style casinos, make sure you book your resort in Cotai (where the Cotai Strip is).  Cotai Strip has more Vegas Style casinos built next to each other than Macau.  However we found Macau to have more culture mixed in with the casinos and was also an incredible experience.  (We found Macau, Macau to be more gambling oriented, and Cotai Strip to be more resort style)

We will be updating this blog post and the World Casino Directory with lots of new information we gathered on the Venetian and other casinos we visited while we were in town, so make sure you keep looking for our updates on Macau and the Cotai Strip there.
