Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania is holding a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4pm local Friday to officially open and unveil their new gaming enclave on the casino floor. The expansion includes new slot machines and gaming tables as well as restrooms for the area.
The newly used space will give players at the popular Parx Casino and Racing, located 20 minutes north of Philadelphia city center, a machine count of over 3,500 gaming terminals and over 210 gaming tables (129 felts and 81 poker tables). The casino is introducing 700 new slot machines like Alice and the Mad Tea Party, Vegas Fantasy, and the ever popular Quick Hits.
Players can also look forward to a series of new fusion hybrid, live dealer table games like baccarat and blackjack with $5 table minimums as well as the Shaquille O’Neal branded, ShaqBlackjack (pictured). The games are all more socially interactive than previous electronic tables and players can stake up to 4 live games at the same time from any of the 24 private terminals.
“We’re thrilled to expand our casino for all guests to enjoy. Giving people an exciting gaming experience along with great amenities and superior customer service is what we strive to deliver at Parx,” Anthony Faranca, General Manager of Parx Casino said in a release.
The first phase of the casino expansion master plan will give visitor over 175,000 square feet of gaming space. A further enhancement to the gaming and entertainment experience opening by early next year will include Xlounge, a super-modern luxury lounge with top-shelf cocktails, premium beer, an upscale menu, luxury design touches and additional gaming.
Ribbon cutting ceremonies begin at 4pm and you can get to Parx Casino by taking exit 37 off I-95, or exit 351 off the Pennsylvania Turnpike (westbound) or exit 352 (eastbound) onto Street Road.
