A special celebration is planned for today at the Fremont Hotel and Casino as the venue is celebrating 60 years in operation. At noon, the property will begin celebrating their diamond anniversary with cupcakes and champagne. Oscar Goodman will be on hand as the Las Vegas Host Chairman and the former mayor of the city, with Boyd Gaming Executive Chairman, Bill Boyd, also in attendance.
During the celebrations, Goodman will be presented by Boyd with a gaming chip commemorating the 60th anniversary. The event is open to the public and has no cost to attend. Along with the celebrations, the casino will also be offering special promotions for the anniversary. Throughout the summer, players who are B Connected members of the casino will be able to take part in promotions every Thursday night as the celebration continues.
