Swedish online casino software developer NetEnt has inked a commercial deal with online gambling operator 888 Holdings that will see its range of live casino content launch with the London-listed company.
Courtesy of the collaboration, the Gibraltar-headquartered company’s online casino brand 888casino will now offer its players NetEnt’s award-winning portfolio of live casino games, including Live Blackjack and Live Roulette, along with its Perfect Blackjack and Blitz Blackjack games.
Senior Vice President of B2C for 888 Holdings, Guy Cohen, said…
“We’re very pleased to be signing a new deal with NetEnt Live Casino – one of the world’s finest live casino developers.
“Live casino has become an important component of our offer, as players seek the best of Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Monte Carlo wherever they are.”
Last month, business-to-business online live casino services specialists Evolution Gaming made an all-stock offer worth 19.6 billion Swedish crowns ($2.12 billion) to acquire NetEnt’s portfolio of interactive casino games.
After the Stockholm-headquartered developer’s board of directors recommended accepting the offer, shareholders reportedly indicated they would also approve of the acquisition.
Also commenting on the latest deal, Live Casino Director for NetEnt, Andres Rengifo, said…
“888casino sets a high benchmark for regulated online gaming. At NetEnt Live Casino we are thrilled to provide their players with access to our exciting portfolio of interactive and sophisticated live casino games.
“With multiple camera views, fully customized options, and professional dealers to boot, we are excited by the potential of this partnership.”
