One lucky Toronto resident got the Halloween treat of his life when he hit a $4.7 million dollar jackpot on a slot machine at Woodbine Racetrack Casino on October 30. Slots winners can keep their identity private and so we don’t know who won the giant prize. He was issued a check for the full amount.

No one knows how many dollars the winner had to feed into the machine before it hit, but everyone around heard the bells and alarms go off when he did. A spokesman for the track said that he was a regular customer and that “he was thrilled”. I’m sure that thrilled is quite the understatement.
