Mobil Travel Guide has been releasing comprehensive reviews and ratings of hotels, restaurants and spas since 1958. The process is based on a scale using hundreds of different criteria that are evaluated each year. The evaluation is done by undercover inspectors who remain unannounced and anonymous so as to not be influenced by staff at all. Every aspect of the facility is examined and rated including cleanliness, condition and location.

Wynn became a double winner with the prestigious awards for 2009 with the Wynn Macau being the only hotel in Macau to win the Five-Star Award and the Spa at Wynn Macau became only the third spa to win the award in Macau and Hong Kong.
