It’s been a phenomenal year so far for Yggdrasil Gaming, having released new back-to-back slots, expanding its European presence and now being named RNG Casino Supplier of the year at the EGR B2B Awards 2019.
The award won at the prestigious black tie event held at the Tower of London on the evening of Tuesday 25 June cements the developer’s standing as a leading content provider in the iGaming industry.
According to the official press release…
The ‘RNG Casino Supplier of the year’ category ‘recognizes excellence in product development, innovation and user experience.’ And Yggdrasil’s introduction of its YGS Masters program, the premiere of Nitro Circus – its first branded game – and its multiplayer table games….each impressed the judges.
Stiff competition:
Not to be overlooked, the Cherry AB subsidiary faced some fierce competition, being shortlisted with the likes of Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Red Tiger, Tom Horn Gaming, Playtech, Relax Gaming, Pariplay, iSoftBet, ELK Studios and Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH.
Not its first trip to the podium:
Tuesday night’s award follows the Swedish firm’s previous successes at the industry ceremony, in 2018 having won the Innovation in RNG Casino Software category and in 2016, and 2017, named Slot Provider of the year.
Chief Executive Officer for Yggdrasil Gaming, Fredrik Elmqvist, said that the firm was “thrilled to have won the RNG Casino Supplier category at this year’s awards.”
Adding that…
“We’ve been part of the EGR B2B awards for many years now and it keeps getting better and better. Our sector is more competitive than ever but we’re proud to be part of such an innovative and progressive industry and delighted to have been selected by our peers as the best RNG Casino Supplier.
“Winning this award is a testament to all the hard work of the entire Yggdrasil team over the last year as we strive to constantly innovate and produce high-quality games with players in mind.”
Productive first half:
The provider of superior online gaming solutions for igaming operators recently launched its high-voltage slot Wild Robo Factory, which was on the heels of its tie-up with leading Czech Republic operator Tipsport. The launch of its locally certified games portfolio marking the developer’s debut in the market, which in 2017 introduced a new Gambling Act, regulating online gaming.
