Immediately following its latest round of supply deals and Malta-based online casino software provider Pragmatic Play has revealed its third new game release for the month of March, Fishin’ Reels.
Whereas its last slot, Hot To Burn Hold & Spin, presents players with a classic fruit-inspired title, this highly volatile, fishing-themed video slot invites them to take the plunge into the unknown. Reminiscent of Reel Time Gaming‘s (RTG) classic 2014 release, Fishin’ Frenzy, the 5-reel, 3-row, 10 paylines underwater adventure offers plenty of opportunities to reel in a big catch!
“We expect our customers to relish this addition.”
The game’s subaquatic backdrop features various symbols including diamonds, spades, hearts and clubs card suits, snorkeling goggles and diving fins, while an inflated frog, a grinning starfish and lobster and a sideways glancing fish comprise the high pays. When a player lands two or more of the latter symbol, they earn up to 100 times the stake for five of a kind.
Bonus options:
Matching 3, 4, or 5 bonus symbols in the underwater oasis activates the extra spins feature, which awards 10, 12, or 15 spins respectively. When that happens, players will have to select one of two Bonus Round options.
A low volatility option, the first Bonus Feature is aptly referred to as “Reel It In” and it stars fish symbols that land on the reels and have a cash value between 0.5x and 250x the original stake. If one of these symbols land simultaneous to the special Fisherman icon on reel 5, he will reel in the assigned values, making for some big wins for players.
The Big Catch is option number two and it offers more volatility. A Big Catch symbol with a Golden Swordfish appears at random as an overlay on top of any of the pay symbols. When a player hits three Big Catches, a fishing mini-game is triggered along with two extra spins.
Players are at the center of all the action in this fun fishing expedition, where they are able to choose whichever bonus game is more accommodating to their style of play.
Commenting on the new video slot in a company press release, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, Yossi Barzely said Fishin’ Reels “draws inspiration from the deepest depths” and with “charming animations and a unique system” puts the player at the center of the game while bringing “something new” to its slots portfolio.
The multi-product content provider’s latest title follows recent hits Joker King, Eye Of The Storm, and the 200,704 ways to win mystical adventure, Madame Destiny Megaways, further strengthening Pragmatic’s library of premium slots.
BetVictor tie-up:
Meanwhile, British iGaming operator, BetVictor, will soon have access to Pragmatic Play’s full range of bingo games after agreeing a supply deal with the Malta-based online casino software provider.
Under the deal, the provider’s entire digital bingo offering, including its mobile-first game, Bingo Blast, which is 3-4 times faster than the average 90-ball bingo variant, and the soon-to-be-released Reels Room, will go live on the prominent UK operator‘s platform in Q1.
Courtesy of the deal, bingo will serve as a complement to BetVictor’s existing, established and successful sports betting and online casino operation.
Perfect fit:
Pragmatic Play’s newly-appointed VP of Commercial Strategy and Operations, Bhotesh Maheshwari, boasted that the company’s “range of exclusive bingo products is second to none and delivers a fresh, redesigned experience.” Adding that…
…it’s “fantastic to see our bingo collection gracing the platform of an operator like BetVictor, where we’re sure it will be right at home among the rest of its market-leading offerings.”
BetVictor Director of e-Gaming, Turlough Lally, echoed that sentiment, saying that Pragmatic’s “custom, tailored solution is perfect for us and along with the strength of its games, made partnering with them an easy decision.”
