Pragmatic Play has launched partner Reel Kingdom’s latest title, Bigger Bass Bonanza, after finding success with the first iteration of the fishing-inspired online slot in December 2020. The new “bigger” version virtually doubles the original game’s maximum multiplier value, and gives players even more chances to score even bigger wins, with increased volatility, an extra set of reels and the opportunity to win up to 4,000 times their stake.
The larger, 5-reel, 4-row game is flanked by palm trees in a neon-lit harbour reminiscent of a scene from the popular 80s American crime drama television series Miami Vice. That, together with a funky new soundtrack, has this player half expecting Crockett and Tubbs to snorkel through the game somewhere.
Immersive gameplay:
While the new 12-payline video slot adds a row and changes the background image and soundtrack, the game maintains a few things from its predecessor, including a 96.71 percent default RTP. Also unchanged, landing at least three scatter symbols during the base game triggers the extra spins feature and 10 spins, while the addition of any other scatter symbols sees five spins added to the tally.
Big wins are made possible by collecting scatters within the extra spins feature, while lower value wins can be had via regular line wins, which happens when matching symbols land from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the far left reel.
Low value symbols consist of 10-A card icons, while assorted fishing paraphernalia including a tackle box, a lure, a fishing rod and a boat comprise the high pays. Landing five-of-a-kind high pays is worth 50 to 200 times the bet while landing a full line of fish scattes pays the player the total dollar value amount.
Scatter and extra spins:
Scatter symbols appear on all reels, and landing 3, 4, or 5 awards 10, 15, or 20 extra spins, respectively. Meanwhile, wild symbols landing simultaneously with money symbols during the extra spins feature, sees the fisherman collect all of their values for the player. Money symbols have a randomly assigned dollar value while the game’s elusive fish scatter is worth up to 4,000 times the player’s stake.
Additionally, a wild symbol appears in extra spins and substitutes for regular pay symbols while also collecting any money symbols in view. Wild symbols are collected on a meter loated above the reels, with every fourth wild symbol collected, retriggering the feature and awarding +10 additional extra spins and a multipler for the wild money symbol collector. The first retrigger pays x2, the second x3 and x10 for the third. The feature is exhausted after three retriggers.
Wider audience:
Commenting on what is sure to be a big hit, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, said in a company press release…
“We are delighted to launch another product in collaboration with Reel Kingdom, allowing us to reach more players than ever before.
“The light-hearted theme has been fleshed out with various new features, each with the intention of helping the fisherman enjoy a full catch.”
Bigger Bass Bonanza is the Gibraltar-based provider’s latest launch and follows recently released titles including the food-inspired Yum Yum Powerways, along with Chilli Heat Megaways, Rise of Giza PoweNudge and Fruit Party 2, each of which joins the more than 200 HTML5 optimized titles within the supplier’s award-winning games portfolio.
Expansion strategy moves:
