Three weeks after launching its Hugo Carts video slot, Swedish online casino games developer Play‘n GO has returned to herald the premiere of its new five-reel and ten-payline Ghost of Dead innovation.
The Vaxjo-headquartered innovator used an official Thursday press release to detail that the new mobile-friendly video slot is the latest addition to its Dead-branded family of games that began in 2016 with the Book of Dead title before progressing with the subsequent Legacy of Dead, Rise of Dead, and, most recently, Scroll of Dead advances.
Attractive advocate:
Play‘n GO stated that the three-row Ghost of Dead features a representation of a ‘living spirit’ known as Akh serving as its protagonist. The firm declared that the peoples of ancient Egyptians are thought to have believed this figure was a combination of ‘vitality and soul’ that could take on any form so as to travel the world.
Potential profitability:
Established in 1997, Play‘n GO pronounced that Ghost of Dead moreover comes complete with expanding wilds alongside the ‘resurrected’ spirit of Pharaoh Unas who uses ‘his new-found magic to guide worthy mortals to hidden treasures’ that could be worth up to 10,000 times their triggering stake. The innovator asserted that all of this is joined by mummy, snake, and scarab beetle symbols that ‘ring true to previous games’ as well as ‘motifs associated with ancient Egypt’ and a green, purple and blue color palette that radiates ‘opulence’.
Lengthy legacy:
Charlotte Miliziano serves as the Head of Games for Play‘n GO and she used the press release to explain that Ghost of Dead is also the latest video slot from her firm to feature the Egyptian theme seen in other popular titles such as the Golden Osiris game debuted last November. She proclaimed that this backdrop ‘provides a solid foundation’ for a narrative that can come replete with ‘ruthless pharaohs and merciless gods’ while simultaneously supplying the consistency and innovation for which her company’s games have become known.
Read a statement from Miliziano…
“With titles in the Dead series, players already have an idea of what the game should look like and how it will play. It’s a balance of innovation to keep players engaged with familiarity and consistency key in creating a reliable series of games that players can depend on. It’s safe to say that the Dead series will maintain its popularity over time and Ghost of Dead, like its sister games, will be one that players will want to play again and again.”
