Starting on November 28, players at 888poker can access a new high-stakes online poker series thanks to a partnership between WPT DeepStacks and the poker room. The series will run through December 21, offering 28 total events and more than $3 million in guaranteed prize money. With so much high-stakes action at the virtual felt, it is expected that many top pros will take part.

The schedule will kick off with Event #1, a $200,000 Opening tournament. The buy-in is $525 and a $200,000 prize pool is on offer. That same day, players can also compete in a Mini Opening Event, with a smaller $55 buy-in and $50,000 in total prize money.
On November 30, the series will feature Events #3 and #4. The third tournament on the schedule is a PKO event with a $215 buy-in and $75,000 in prize money. A Mini version takes place to offering a lower $55 buy-in and $30,000 prize pool.
The bigger online poker events won’t take place until December at 888poker. The online poker series will feature a $1,000,000 Main Event on December 5 with Event #28. This tournament has a buy-in of $1,050. The Main Event has a few Day 1s, allowing more players to take part. The Main Event won’t conclude until the end of the series with Day 2 set for December 20.
Winning Tickets to Events and Twitch Streaming Schedule
As with most online poker tournament series, there are seats up for grabs. 888poker is offering daily freerolls to give players a shot at winning Main Event satellites. The freerolls do not require a ticket and will not only give away the Main Event options but also more than $200,000 in tickets to other satellites and sub-satellites in the series.
The freerolls are a great way for players to try for an event ticket at no cost. Earn your way with satellites and you have a shot at earning a seat and possibly a payday for cashing out during one of the high roller events.
A few of the events are going to be streamed live on the Twitch channel of 888poker, known as 888pokerTV. Selected events have been chosen for airing including The Opening Event, The PKO Event #9 tournament, the $100,000 High Roller, the Crazy 8 Event #17 and the Big Shot 109 Main Event, #25.
Players will compete in these events and once the final table has been reached, the event will halt. Live streaming will pick up the next day and will be on a delay so that hole cards can be exposed.
