Las Vegas-based maker of electronic gaming machines (EGMs), PlayAGS Inc (NYSE:AGS) recently announced the appointment of Mike McKiski as its Vice President of Sales for Western U.S. and Corporate Accounts. McKiski will from the new position lead the company’s continued market growth by working with customers to establish incremental revenue opportunities in the western half of the U.S.

Senior Vice President of Sales for AGS, Robert Perry said the as the demand for the company’s “consistently high-performing slot products” remains high, they have put together a “best-in-breed sales management team” to make the most of their opportunities, according to the press release.

Perry explained, “Recruiting Mike to lead our current team of account executives in the West will help elevate our revenue potential and heighten our strong customer-centric culture as we continue to expand. Between his proven track record as a sales leader and his natural ability to develop new market opportunities, we’re confident Mike will add tremendous value to AGS.”

For his part, McKiski said that he’s watched AGS’ impressive growth over the past year and a half, including taking the company public in January this year, and he’s been “eager to join Team AGS.”

McKiski’s new role will reportedly focus on strengthening the company’s strategy for slot sales to heighten revenue growth across the Western states including but not limited to Nevada, California, Washington and Arizona, along with important corporate accounts within those areas.

Before coming to AGS, Mckiski, who reportedly holds a B.A. from UNLV, served as VP of Sales for Western U.S. at Interblock and prior to that, he was Scientific Games’ Director of Sales and Commercial Operations. In his continuing education, McKiski will, according to the press release, compete his MBA studies this fall at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of business.
