Throughout South Florida, Seminole Gaming properties are now home to a custom Wide Area Progressive (WAP) jackpot courtesy of premier manufacturer of global gaming products, Ainsworth Game Technology. The new installation marks the first ever WAP in the New South Wales-based company’s North American history.

Soon, 60 Ainsworth games with the Dream Hit WAP, which starts at $350,000 and must hit by $500,000, will be available in three Seminole Gaming casinos and two Hard Rock casinos in sunny Florida. The casinos include the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee and Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

Juan Martinez, Vice President of Gaming Operations for Seminole Gaming, said: “We’ve had many great successes with Ainsworth’s traditional local progressive set-ups allowing us to create and manage some unique and custom configurations. We are excited about carrying that technology forward for our in-house multisite (WAP),” according to the press release.

The Dream Hit WAP is reportedly based on Ainsworth’s new A-link Controller, which creates symbol-driven and mystery wide area progressives that are adaptable to any size gaming operation. Custom graphics are also provided by Ainsworth for each installation.

Mike Dreitzer, Ainsworth President – North America, thanked Seminole Gaming leadership for the continued successful partnership. Dreitzer added, “We are excited to – for the first time – be offering players life-changing jackpots of up to $500,000. The A-Link controller, when combined with our customized WAP offering, enables Ainsworth to continue to grow our base in North America.”
