This Saturday, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will be looking to fill up to 4,500 part-time positions. The new $2 billion, 65,000 seat stadium will need a full staff in order to function once the Las Vegas Raiders begin playing at the venue. The hiring event will be a virtual recruitment with positions filled in food service, ticketing, hospitality, custodial, security, and customer service.

Six Employers Hiring:

During the virtual event, a total of six employers will be hiring. Included on the list of employers hiring are the Raiders, ASM Global, along with Silver & Black Hospitality. The Raiders are hoping that the recruitment process will be a step on the road to recovery as the community begins to reopen after being shut down due to the coronavirus. The stadium is bringing thousands of part-time employment positions to the local economy.

Marc Badain, the Raiders President, commented that with the first game day in Las Vegas for the Raiders coming soon, they are excited to begin recruiting a winning team to make the event at Allegiant Stadium unforgettable. The team is also looking forward to supporting local recovery efforts by providing the new employment opportunities within the organization as well as with the stadium’s partners.

Applying for a Position:

Individuals seeking employment can visit the Allegiant Stadium careers website to begin the application process. The site can be accessed via smartphone or desktop. It is expected that the hiring process will last two weeks.

Once an application has been submitted correctly, a confirmation email will be sent out to the individual. Some job positions will require a video recording for questions. Those who qualify will be contacted by a recruiter to set up interviews with follow-up questions. These interviews will take place over the telephone or with videoconferencing technology.

All applicants need to be available to work the home games of the Raiders along with other events. This will include UNLV football games, civic gatherings and concerts, among other options.

The stadium should be completed by July 31 and the first major event will be a Garth Brooks concert on August 22. The Raiders season is set to begin on August 27 with a preseason game.
